Indiana-SPI's philosophy on 'orbs'
In the field of paranormal research the phenomena known as orbs has become controversial. Orbs, as presented by some researches, are usually small balls of light and/or energy. Some believe these orbs are evidence of spiritual activity. Indiana-SPI does not necessarily agree with this position. Indiana-SPI has conducted various experiments and research on the phenomenon known as orbs. Our conclusions, as they stand today, are simple. Orbs found in photos and video recordings can be reproduced in a number of ways, including dust, moisture, and even bugs. With this being the case we must dismiss orbs as a paranormal phenomena a majority of the time. That being said, Indiana-SPI, recognizes that balls of energy do exist and that a ball of energy could represent the presence of an entity, spirit, ghost, or whatever term you use regarding paranormal activity. The stronger cases for orbs as paranormal activity usually include seeing an orb with the naked eye and some distinct characteristics when caught on a video or photograph.
At this time, Indiana-SPI is not convinced that any 'orb evidence' we have collected represents paranormal activity in the form of an entity.
We hope to have our video available in full screen soon!
This is an interesting video. Tell us what you think!
After placing a digital recorder next to our video camera another person and I began to exit the Ballroom at Prospect Place Mansion. As we are walking away you will see something to the right of the person with me. As it moves by her, on her right side, you will see her jump as she moves from one side of me to the other in a startled reaction. When this event occurred I did not hear or see anything that would have startled her in any way. Upon reviewing our video recordings this is what we found. Indiana-SPI has not made a final determination on this video. Please tell us what you think!
